The works of Gary Pregont span twenty-five years of world travel. He finds
beauty where it exists, naturally, without the need for special staging
or studio effects. He searches for the view that the average person
never sees, then preserves it on film to be viewed and contemplated for
years to come.
Gary specializes in capturing the vibrant colors of nature on film. His
works are bold and make a powerful statement about the natural beauty which
surrounds us. He is a long time naturalist seeking to live in harmony
with all living things on earth. His fundemental belief in preserving
nature and natural resources for future generations is at the heart of
his photography. This dedication to nature allows him not to just
observe his subject, but to become one with it.
His travels have included numerous trips through Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, South America
and extensive travel through North America. He has captured on film the majestic
beauty of the North American Rockies, the vanishing wildlife in East Africa,
and the serenity of Oriental gardens, the colorful life of the world's oceans, as well as scenes from numerous other
locales. While he enjoys all aspects of the natural kingdom, he does have
a particular preference for the photographic study of wolves as well as the
myriad of avian life which populate the globe.
Beauty exists everywhere and Gary has been able to capture on film extraordinary
scenes from ordinary circumstances. He brings a fresh view of the world to
photography. For years his works have graced private collections. Finally,
he has offered the public the chance to experience nature as seen through
his unique perspective.
